Available for loan to schools are a series of School Education Boxes which are packed with fascinating artifacts, documents, toys and memorabilia from bygone days.

The packs have been developed for curriculum support and reflect the topics covered in the National Curriculum. Please ask for a list of items contained in each ‘box’ [available Heritage Centre] For a nominal charge [£5], the packs may be used for a period of two weeks.

They are available from BLHS at its Heritage & Research Centre [225 Peartree Avenue] and may be collected, and returned, on Fridays 1 – 4 pm and 7 – 9 pm * or by arrangement.

Because all schools cover these topics, ‘seasonal demand’ is likely so early booking is advisable and prompt return expected. All arrangements are to be made through our Schools/Eduction Officer.
