BITTERNE HOUSENAMES - HOUSE ORDER - A to H

This list is by no means exhaustive, but records many house names in the Bitterne area that are otherwise now difficult to locate, especially where road names have changed over the years, especially in 1924, following the absorption of Bitterne into Southampton.

The lists have been produced in both housename and street order - to cater for the limited information that might be available to the enquirer.

Note: A * sign indicates that the house name is permanently fixed to the house by means of a plaque or stone inset into the brickwork.
