Bitterne Our Heritage Centre is a real Alladin's Cave crammed with the best collection of photographs, documents, articles, books, records and items of local interest which have been collected, rescued, borrowed from or donated by our very good friends in the BLHS. We are particularly proud of our Research Area which has a vast collection of Kelly's Directories of Southampton, Hampshire Magazines, Local Papers, Books and Catalogued Photographs |
Bitterne The BLHS Charity Shop is run entirely by volunteers and society helpers in order to help fund the Heritage Centre. Donations are always greatly accepted ! |
 As sad as it was to see the old Rascal's demise, it was a delight to take delivery of our new(ish) signwritten Renault Kangoo van. Gleaming from bumper to bumper, it is a necessary replacement and willl enable us to take our stall on the road, visiting shows, events and our friends in other local history societies. |
